Gustaaf Quintelier, the breeder of, amongst others, Utopia vd Donkhoeve, put his studfarm on the map thanks to the stallion Chin Chin. With Utopia’s dam Ramona vd Gaver (Chin Chin) he built one of the best lineages in Belgium. In the reputable breeding region Waasland, also the Chin Chin daughters Querly Chin, Usha vh Roosakker and Ta Belle van Sombeke laid at the basis of three of the best lineages in the world. They supplied top-class horses such as Walnut de Muze, Cella and London. Gustaaf Quintelier therefore crossed also his second line with the former Olympic stallion Chin Chin. The Holsteiner mare Caresse vd Donkhoeve (Cassini I x Cor de la Bryere) gave him, in combination with Chin Chin, the mare Highness vd Donkhoeve and this is the dam of Tucci vd Donkhoeve Z, a perfectly built colt with three fantastic gaits. Not for nothing this beautiful chestnut was the reserve champion of the recent Z-Festival.
