Cassandra Z, by Carthago Z x Farn, does not the name ring a bell? At Studfarm Zangersheide it does, for it is this mare who is also the dam of the much too early deceased Chellano Z-son Calvados Z. Christian Ahlmann was well on his way with him to the international top when he died. Fortunately, Calvados Z left numerous promising sport horses behind. With this half-brother Leonardo Z, a son of Z-icon Levisto Z, there is hope again, for he is a future sport stallion and progenitor. Dam Cassandra also produced the GP horse Narbonne Z (Nabab de Rêve) ridden by Niklaus Rutschi and Kashmira Z (Kashmir vh Schuttershof) ridden by Wesley Mulder.
