Sire Harley VDL is a son of Heartbreaker out of the international sport mare Larthago (Carthago Z). He is also the brother of the internationally jumping Cevin Z (Coriall Z) and Hopes are High (High Valley Z). Calvados himself jumped at CSIO level under Peter Geerink and even after 30 years continues to be valuable in the sport with more than 50 products performing at the highest level. Via grandam Takilly (Libero H) the lineage goes back to a Dutch mares line which also produced Jos Lansinks’s former Nations Cup horse Turbo R.
