Sire Carrera VDL is a relatively young son of the Olympic medal winners Cardento and Baloubet du Rouet. Dam’s sire Corland jumped at major championships under Wout-Jan Van Der Schans and became a celebrity in breeding as sire of, amongst others, Silvana HDC, Eurocommerce California and the silver medal winner Bacardi VDL ridden by Jos Lansink here at last year’s WC. Also In the dam’s line we find a super star. Pialotta has in Baccara (Bariton) the same grandam as Rilota, the dam of this colt.
