Cornet out of the full sister of Arko III
Corsica de Hus Z is foal by Amati, the full sister of Arko III. And that is, of course, the stallion from Nick Skelton, which in 2004 and 2005 was leader of the world ranking for showjumping horses. Arko III won some ten GPs at the highest level CSI-W and CSIO. He won the Spruce Meadows Masters and was until the final round in leading place in the Athens Olympics. Also his sister Amati, the dam of this foal, performed at international 1.50m level. She also produced a licensed stallion with Tsunami de Hus. This is an extremely good family. Arko and Amati’s full brother Arko ESI were sold as foals at a German auction for the record amount of 130,000 euro. The grandam of Amati is for 75% French-bred and has a good dash of thoroughbred blood. The dam’s line is world-famous thanks to Darco, but also because of Now or Never, Alanda, Friso and It’s the Business. Sire Cornet Obolensky hardly needs introduction. Under Marco Kutscher he was a regular asset for the German team. So are his products Cornet d’Amour, Comme Il Faut, Cornado NRW and Cornado II today, ridden by Marcus Ehning and Daniel Deusser.
