 Genetically one of the most interesting colts is this Cordon de l’Esprit Z, by Chellano Alpha Z, out of the half-sister of Mr. Blue.  His byname Mister Perfect was not stolen. Sire Chellano Alpha Z is the first clone to be started in the sport. Chellano Z himself performed there under Jos Lansink, but met an early death. He turned out to be worth gold in breeding. His products Carlos VHP Z (M. Ward), Chill R Z (C. Jayne), Challenge vd Begijnakker Z (N. Philippaerts) and Chamberlain Z (T. Gredley) are all active at 1.60m level and often meet each other in prize-awards of whatever CSI5* show in Europe or the USA. The dam’s line of this colt produced, besides Mr. Blue, also the Olympic event horse Concrex Oncarlos ridden by Tim Lips.
