If you closely followed Z-Festival, you may have noticed that the offspring of the young Carthago son Cavalo Z caused a total surprise. We are there for happy to tell you that we have included both a colt and a filly by this stallion in our auction collection. The colt Chello Z was cleverly bred out of the well-known Dutch family from Wim Van Dam, which also produced Whitney BB (Michael Greeve) and the stallions Damiro en Jumpy des Fontaines. Dam Country Lady B Z is by Contendro I, the sire, for example, of Codex One, ridden by Christian Ahlmann. We know her dam’s sire Chellano Z because of Carlos VHP Z, Challenge vd Begijnakker Z and Chill R Z. After that comes Almé Z. Also in this foal the influence of Studfarm Zangersheide is considerable.
